Recognition Banquet

Please consider attending the Crossroads District Recognition Banquet where Mickey is one of 5 recipients of the District Award of Merit.

The dinner is on Thursday, February 23 at Lakeside Country Club (1201 Croxton Ave, Bloomington).

Cost is $25 per person before2/15, $30 per person after.

Doors open at 5:30PM.  Dinner and program begin at 6PM.

Court of Honor

The Court of Honor is scheduled for November 21, 2016 at 6PM in the Towanda Legion Hall.  This night is for all Scouts and family members to celebrate each other’s accomplishments over the past six months.

The troop will be providing Monicals pizza and salad for everyone.  Drinks, sides and desserts will be a potluck with each family signing up to bring something to share.

Please email melissaplassman@hotmail.com by Monday, November 7th with the number attending (including your scout) and what you are bringing to share (so we can make sure there are no overlaps).

2016/05/06 – May Camporee

Highlights

  • The Spring Camporee will be unlike anything you’ve seen before! There will be fishing (or a challenge course for all the non-fishers), digital scavenger hunt, orienteering, shelter building, knots, and much more!

Depart from Scout Cabin at 4:30pm Friday 5/6/2016 – Return to Scout Cabin at 8:30 PM Saturday 5/7/2016.

I give permission to the leaders of the above unit to render First Aid, should the need arise. In the event of an emergency, I also give permission to the physician, selected by the adult leader in charge, to hospitalize, secure proper anesthesia, order injection, or secure other medical treatment, as needed.

I further agree to hold the above named unit and its leaders blameless for any accidents that might occur during this outing except for clear acts of negligence or non-adherence to BSA policies and guidelines.
